Wives Under Suspicion (1938)
Original U.S. Insert Movie Poster (14" x 36")

This film is based on a play by Ladislas Fodor. It's a clever yet convoluted story of a prosecutor trying a case where a man has killed his cheating wife, and it looks like he will get away with it! At the same time the prosecutor suspects that his own wife is having an affair, and he thinks that he just may be able to also kill her and get away with it too! This is a very rare poster...we have not been able to locate an image of another insert from this film anywhere online! Condition: Good to Very Good - With water staining that is visible on the reverse, but minimally visible on the front (potentially due to the seemingly heavier than normal paper stock). There is some moisture waviness, but again it isn't really noticeable. There is a couple inch tear (taped on the reverse) on the upper border that runs just above Warren William's left ear. There is also minimal corner creasing. As you can see in the photo...the poster looks great!!! IMDb ID: tt0030981 | Location: Brd/Bg'd
